NORTHWEST ARKANSAS — We got a break in the weather, not cold but at least better than it was. If we can just get some rain now, we will be better.

Carol Ann Walker visited me one afternoon last week, which I enjoyed, then she visited Wayne Tucker.

Jo Ellen Tucker of Laurenceburg, Ind., came in to see me. She got here a little after noon on Friday and stayed until Sunday to attend the Tucker reunion. She returned home on Monday. She and I and Jacob Ballmann went to Lowell Saturday to get some fruit, then back to Siloam Walmart. We enjoyed the time out.

Wesley Story, Sammie Sappington and baby Khloe visited Jack and SylviaTucker on their way home from the Tucker reunion. They live in Minnesota.

On July 14, the first reunion of the Erb and Loretta West family was held. It was at the Plainview Baptist Church in Jay, Okla. Erb was deacon and church clerk for many years. Three generations were present, their sons Coyle and Cay and his son Samuel. There were 34 in attendance. Erb and Loretta were singers for many years and their legacy continues on with children and great-grandchildren. Erb was also in charge of the horseshoe pitching at Maysville Days for many years. They were former Maysville residents.

The Tucker reunion had good attendance Sunday. Folks came from Indiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas. Therewas lots of good food, visiting and picture taking. Everyone seemed to enjoy the time together. We missed the ones who could not attend.

Steve and Susan Tucker brought some pictures of their New York trip to visit their son Sheldon. I sure enjoyed seeing them. I haven’t made it to New York yet.

Steve and Eva Rea Fincher and children Selena and Zack of Tulsa, Okla., visited Orpha Wardlaw last weekend and attended the Tucker reunion.

Chad Tucker, his wife and baby girl of Salina, Okla., visited Donald Tucker this weekend. Devin Tucker also attended. It’s always good to see everyone.
