Job workshop to be held at Gravette Library next month

GRAVETTE — A job workshop and fair is being planned at the Gravette Public Library for persons who wish to gain information about the area job market. It will also involve learning how to craft a personal resume.

Kim Schneider, library director, said the work shop will be held September 20 and 21, with the first day spent on learning resume writing, followed by a day when representatives from local and area businesses, industries, professions, armed services the Arkansas Work Force and Temp Services will be present.

Persons in Gravette,Centerton, Decatur, Gentry, Bella Vista, Hiwasse, Maysville and Sulphur Springs and the area are especially invited to attend.

More information will be available within a few weeks, Schneider said.

“Make plans to attend this free service as we work together in creating an even better job climate in our area,” she said.
