— My nephew, Rick Vandiver of Pineville, visited me Gravette Day week end. He was over for the parade. He always takes part in it.

Patti King of Lowell and her friend Petru visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, last Sunday.

Tracy Warren visited me Sunday and ran some errands for me. I don’t knowwhat I’d do without family to help me at certain times. Sylvia Tucker visited Johnnie Mae Marshall one afternoon last week.

We are getting some rain. Sure hope it continues. It’s coming down just like we need it.

The Vandiver and Morris family reunion was held at the Maysville Community Building last Saturday. Wehad a good crowd, lots of good food, visiting and picture taking. Relatives came from Texas, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and many surrounding places in Arkansas and Oklahoma. It had been 14 years since some of themhad got to come at reunion time. It was a great day. We all look forward to next year.

Several E.H. Club members went to I-Hop in Rogers on Thursday morning for breakfast, then went and took a tour ofthe children’s shelter in Vaughn. There were 13 club members and visitors. I don’t have the list of names. I did not get to go because I was just getting over pneumonia.

That has sorta put me on stand still.
