Rock swap planned

— The Northwest Arkansas Gem & Mineral Society is holding its Fall Rock Swap from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat- urday, Sept. 8, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, in the parking area of the clubhouse, lo-

cated on Arkansas High- way 43, about one mile north of Siloam Springs.

Dealers from around the area have been in- vited to come and set up a tent or table with their stones. There will be rocks of all kinds — gems, minerals, fossils and even in jewelry.

This is a family-friendly event, where children can enjoy looking at and talk- ing about the different kinds of stones with people who love rocks. The public is invited to come out and enjoy viewing and possibly buying pretty stones. The event is free, with plenty of free parking.

The Club will have an auction at 1 p.m. Satur- day, with a live auction- eer. There will be plenty of stones up for auction, so everyone can partici- pate.
