Page joins Boys & Girls Club board of directors

— Boys & Girls Club of Western Benton County announced that Richard Page joined its corporate board of directors.

“We are very lucky to have Dr. Page join our corporate board,” says Chris Shimer, chief professional officer. “Dr. Page brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for helping children and families in our area,” added Shimer.

“Both the school district and the Boys & Girls Club have similar missions,” Page said. “Both organizations are doing what they can to help our youth become great citizens and successful in life.”

Page serves as superintendent for the Gravette School District. He is married to Pamela and has twosons and one daughterin-law.

Boys & Girls Club of Western Benton County was established almost 15 years ago and continues to provide services for hundreds of children every day in western Benton County and surrounding communities. It has units in both Gravette and Siloam Springs. Core programs are based on the Formula for Impact that focuses on members’ overall club experiences, including supporting academic success, promoting good character, leadership skills and healthy lifestyles.
