Gravette 's Holiness Bible School offers Christian education 85 years

— Gravette Holiness Bible School continues into its 85th year as a place where children and young people can receive education in a Christian environment.

Each day starts with a devotional time which includes songs, Scripture memory and a story or sermon.

For grades kindergarten through second grade, we use the Accelerated Christian Education Curriculum. Students from third grade and upward are learning on a computer based curriculum called Ignatia. The curriculum includes text that the students read and take notes from, learning games and a tiny tutor which is a video clip explaining a lesson concept. Additionally, there are science experiments and other lesson-related projects.

While we do not have any seniors, it is possible that a senior who is dually enrolled here and with Ignatia online education can receive a diploma from an accredited school. As well, home-schoolers may take classes through us with or without needing to be a part of campus life.

After serving for eight years, Mr. Callaway left the school and is employed elsewhere. Pastor Lonnie Witt is now serving as interim principal while we seek another administrator. Two teachers, a property manager, bookkeeper and several volunteers work together in this ministry. We feel that the ministry of our school has filled an important role in the lives of many individuals who are part of the Gravette community. Some came to this school as dormitory students and ended up being a permanent part of this community.

While we cannot be all things to all people, we do have a vital mission, and the school is open to those who value Christian education.
