Committee of the whole to discuss Hiwasse's annexation petition

GRAVETTE — A resolution for support of the Hiwasse annexation is on the agenda for discussion at a meeting of the Gravette City CouncilCommittee of the Whole. The meeting is scheduled at 6 p.m. Jan. 9 at the city hall.

After hearing reports from various city departments, other items on the agenda for discussion include a flooddamage prevention program ordinance, an ordinance abolishing a cemetery commission, discussion of extension of 8th Avenue SW and upsizing a water line on Detroit Street to 8th Avenue NE.
