Three arrested on meth lab charges

— Benton County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested three people in connection with running methamphetamine labs, authorities said last Tuesday.

Capt. Mike Jones, commander of the field division of the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, said one lab was found Monday night in Sulphur Springs and another in Centerton on Tuesday afternoon.

“In both instances, someone told a deputy they suspected a meth lab was in operation,” Jones said.

“The deputy called the Crime Suppression Unit, who initiated conversation with the men and obtained consent to search.”

Investigators arrested Jayson Emery, 34, of Centerton on Tuesday in connection with manufacturing a controlled substance.

Jones said other charges may be forthcoming on Emery.

The lab was found in a storage unit on Centerton Boulevard in Centerton, Jones said.

On Monday night, the Crime Suppression Unit arrested two men from the Sulphur Springs area in connection with running a methamphetamine lab.

Tobin Hugh Crowley, 35, of 308 S. Duff Ave. in Sulphur Springs wasarrested in connection with manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia in the course or furtherance of a felony drug violation.

Crowley was being held last Tuesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

James Heath Hamilton, 32, of 116 W. Grove St. in Sulphur Springs was arrested in connection with possession with intent to manufacture a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia in the course or furtherance of a felony drug violation.

Hamilton was also being held last Tuesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.
