Student driving support

— Ron Paul, the Republican Presidential candidate, has an ardent supporter in Gravette - 19-year-old Dylan Stewart.

Stewart is a sophomore at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and carries a Ron Paul message with him everywhere he goes in his Ford Fiesta.

Its licenseplate, in all capital letters, reads RON PAUL and it attracts the attention of motorists as he drives to and from his classes at the UofA, as well as when Stewart’s car is parked on Irving Street in Gravette.

Stewart, a history major, and Dominic Box, a UofA senior, formed UARUP, a Ron Paul support group. Its several meetings have attracted quite a group of students.

Dylan is a graduate ofGreenland High School and lives with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Stewart, in Gravette while attending the university. His father, Jeff, is head football coach at Coal Hill in Johnson County.

Ron Paul’s campaign platform is attracting attention and supportamong young adults all over the nation.

How did Dylan manage to get the Ron Paul license plate? “I looked on the Internet last summer and applied for it,” the young man said. It took several months before the tag was delivered.

When asked what attracts him to Ron Paul as a Presidential hopeful, Stewart, the history major, replied, “People need to be more politically aware ... not get all their news from television. (Everyone) needs to reexamine what America is about.”Everyone needs to re-examine what America is about.
