— Barbara Jean Ford, 81, of Southwest City, Mo., died Feb. 13, 2012, at her home.

She was born Sept. 17, 1930, in Siloam Springs, to James Lewis “Dude” Carter and Amie Martin Carter. She was a bookkeeper for Commercial Metals and a member of the First United Methodist in Southwest City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Melvin Ford; her parents; and one brother.

Survivors include one daughter, Tamhra Ford of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Georgena Jech and husband Roy of Gentry, and Delberta Daniels of Klamath Falls, Ore.

Funeral services were Feb. 20 at First United Methodist Church in Southwest City. Burial followed at Gentry Cemetery in Gentry. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Lisa Jones

Lisa Jean Jones, 45, of Gravette, died Feb. 11, 2012, at her home.

She was born July 25, 1966, in Gravette, to Gerald Tucker and Linda Philpott Tucker. She lived most of her life in the Gravette and Decatur area. She was a homehealth nurse and also worked for Peterson Farms, in research and development. She was a member of Church of God Holiness, Gravette.

She was preceded in death by her mother;

and one brother, Bennie Crowley.

Survivors include her husband, David Jonesof the home; one son, Patrick Mitchell of Oklahoma; one daughter, Erin Tucker of Sulphur Springs; four grandchildren; one brother, John Tucker of Gravette; one half brother, Mike Tucker of Siloam Springs; her father and stepmother, Gerald Tucker and wife Pat of Siloam Springs.

Memorial services were Feb. 16, at Church of God Holiness in Gravette, with Lonnie Witt officiating.

Barbara "Bobbie" McIntyre

Barbara Annis ‘Bobbie” McIntyre, 68, of Gentry, died Feb. 12, 2012, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital, Siloam Springs.

She was born June 16, 1944, in Scotts Bluff, Neb., to Robert Sikes and Barbara Marzolf Sikes. She moved to Arkansas from North Carolina in 1972. She was a nursing assistant at Woodland Manor and attended First Baptist Church in Gentry.

Survivors include her husband, Robert “Bob” McIntyre of the home; one son, Robert McIntyre and wife Debbie of Chandler, Texas; one daughter, Robin Smith and husband Stacy of Chandler; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, LaNora Savage and husband Mike of Gentry;and one brother, James Sikes and wife Laura of Durham, N.C.

Private family services will be held.

Dorothy Tyler

Dorothy Lea Tyler, 76, of Springdale, died Feb. 17, 2012, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.

She was born Aug. 2, 1935, in Dexter, Kans., to Cyrus and Blanch Leas McGowan. She spent her childhood in Sulphur Springs and graduated from Sulphur Springs High School in 1953. She was a physical education teacher for Springdale High School, where she served for 28 years. She was also a member of the U of A Alumni Association.

She is survived by one son, Alvin Dale Tyler and wife Jo Ann of Bella Vista; one daughter, Randy Isely and husband Art of Danville; one sister, Velma Finley of Weatherford, Texas; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Feb. 20, 2012, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale, with Johnny Harp officiating. Burial was in Butler Creek Cemetery in Sulphur Springs. Arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home in Springdale.
