MAYSVILLE NEWS

We have had some more nice days. The forecast is for rain to move in and we need that.

Last Saturday Jack and Sylvia Tucker and I went to Lowell to the home of Patti King. Others attending from Maysville included Ron and Debbie Sims. Patti had plenty of food and a shower for her daughter, Sammie Sappington, was held. We all enjoyed the day.

Orpha Wardlaw spent last weekend in Little Rock with her daughter, Christi Wardlaw. She came home on Tuesday and said she enjoyed the weekend very much.

Gerald Tucker of Gentry visited me one morning this week. I always enjoy him coming by to visit.

Melinda Crawley and I attended a board meeting at the extension office on Monday. We represented the Maysville E. H. Club.

Senior Day at the community building will begin March 15. Contact Bert Ballmann to order your lunch.

The Maysville E. H. Club will be taking bids for the mowing of the community building grounds. To give your bid contact Sylvia Tucker at 1-479-291-4542 or mail it to her at 11576 Benson Road, Gravette. She will give the report at the next club meeting.

Jack and Sylvia Tucker, Les and Jean Martindale went to Cracker Barrel at Springdale to eat on Saturday evening. They were celebrating Jean’s birthday. Happy Birthday, Jean. Hope you have many more.

Shelly Bishop visited her grandparents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, on Friday. She and Sylvia went to Johnnie Mae Marshall’s to visit. I think Shelly did some haircuts for them and got to visit all in one trip. Sylvia had visited another day the first of the week.

The Maysville E. H. Club has set the date for their spring fundraiser as April 14 so mark your calendars.
