Mitchells celebrate 65 years

GRAVETTE — J.R. and Ruth Mitchell of Gravette, who are pictured vacationing last October in Colorado and Utah, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary March 5.

Joseph Robert Mitchell and Ruth Young were married March 5, 1947, at Spade, Texas.

They are parents of three daughters, GeanMunger and husband Dave of Lakewood, Colo., Judy K. Stone of Fayetteville and Joann Mitchell and husband Terry of Centerton. They are blessed with seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A family gathering is planned later in the spring to celebrate the occasion.
