GRAVETTE — Jillian Brown, sixth grade student at Gravette Middle School, won first place in the GMS spelling bee held Dec. 6. Runner-up was A.J. Claborn, seventh grader.

Jillian will compete in the Benton County Spelling Bee which will be held Jan. 14 at 9 a.m. at White Auditorium at Northwest Arkansas Community College. The county winner will participate in the Arkansas State Bee held in Little Rock on March 3.
