WESTSIDE — Orpha Wardlaw spent last weekend in Ponca City, Okla., in the home of her daughter Ellen and Steve Harris. Other family members gathered there on Sunday to have their Christmas together.

Jewel Lukens, a longtime Maysville resident, passed away on Friday morning. She will be missed.

My brother Jim Vandiver and friend Darlene of Broken Arrow, Okla., came over on Thursday.

Pete Ballmann and two sons, of Michigan, came here for Christmas in the home of his parents, Marvin and Bert Ballmann. Others visiting there were Matt and Karla Ballmann and Jacob, Eddy and Leslie Ballmann, Cord and Jackie, Luke Ballmann, Kevin and Diana Graham, Wendy and Katy Stidham.
