GRAVETTE — Gravette City Council will consider a full agenda at its regular January meeting scheduled this Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Gravette Civic Center.

The agenda includes the following items:◊Approve Council meeting schedule for 2012;

◊Approve 2012 holidays to be observed;

◊Approve selling 1985 fire truck to Chidester Fire Department;

◊Resolution for lease agreement with Caterpillar for backhoe;

◊ Approve extending 8th Avenue;

◊Approve up-sizing water line east from Detroit Street NE to 8th Ave. NE;

◊Approve water tower maintenance schedule;

◊Award bid for wildlife trail grant;

◊Ordinance rescinding Planning Commission ordinances;

◊Ordinance approving planning area map;

◊Ordinance establishing flood draining program for Gravette;

◊Ordinance rescinding Cemetery Commission ordinances.

No discussion is planned concerning Hiwasse annexation. A time for public comment will be held following the opening of the meeting by Mayor Byron Warren.
