Wells honored upon retirement

— Earnest (Pudgy) Wells was honored by the city of Gravette upon his retirement from the Gravette Street Department over which he was supervisor.

Wells, who lives in Sulphur Springs, completed more than 10 years of service for the city of Gravette after serving that manyyears in a similar position for the city of Sulphur Springs.

He was presented a watch, engraved with his name and years of service, during the annual Gravette city employees Christmas party.

Shown here at city hall on his last day of service, Jan. 13, he was joined at an informal get-together by other city employees.
