Gentry man arrested for being naked in backyard

— GENTRY - On June 27, Gentry police arrested Ricky Edward Reeves, 57, of Gentry, for indecent exposure.

The arrest came as a result of a witness report that Reeves was allegedly in his back yard on the morning of June 25 with no clothing and could be seen from the street and from neighboring residences.

Reeves, according to police reports, had also been arrested for the same offense in July of 2004.

Drug arrest

On June 28, Gentrypolice arrested Ariel Osualdo Rodriguez, 31, of Gentry, for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The arrest was the result of a visit to the Rodriguez home by a parole officer, where marijuana and smoking devices were allegedly found.

According to the Benton County Jail website, Rodriguez was still being held in the jail without bond on Monday for revocation of his suspended sentence or probation.

Stolen truck recovered

A pickup truck reported as stolen from Eric Briley, at 190 Allen Street in Gentry, was recovered Friday on Indian Lake Road in Delaware County, Okla.

The truck - a white 1996 Chevrolet half-ton with a short bed and missing a tailgate - was reported as stolen on June 23, according to Gentry Police Chief Keith Smith.

Smith said the truck was located off the road with a dent in the passenger side and with no wheels or tires.
