— Several members of the Gravette School Facilities Committee and the School Board met Monday at noon to discuss options of the ongoing construction projects. Another topic of discussion during the hour-long noon meeting involved an easement for a high pressure natural gas line across school property.

Discussed were lighting for the baseball and softball fields on the high school campus, cost estimates of a courtyard adjacent to the new middle school complex under construction and audio and security installations.

Jared Brown, construction manager for the project, provided information, andthe board will consider the questions at its next regular meeting.

Also presented for discussion was allowing an easement for a high pressure gas line which is expected to be extended west from near Hiwasse to connect with the Source Gas Co. line that supplies Gravette and the area.

How the eight-inch line might impact future use of Gravette school property was considered, but more information and maps will be required before any decision can be reached.

When finished, the line will complete a loop from the existing line, which runs north/south near the Paul Belts Farm, to provide better and more reliable service for Source.
