Space offered at Barbecue

DECATUR — The Decatur Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for vendor booth spaces for the 59th annual Decatur Barbecue, according to city administrative assistant Kim Wilkins.

This year’s Barbecue will be held on Saturday, Aug. 4, in Veterans Park and will last from 7 a.m. until late in the evening.

Spaces are available for food and concession stands, as well as arts and crafts vendors, businesses, kids games and non-profits, Wilkins said.

Food and concession stand spaces are $100 each plus 10 percent of sales. Spaces for arts and crafts vendors, businesses and kids games are $25 each, and spaces for non-profits are free. For more information, call city hall at 752-3912.
