— Maysville got some rain showers Saturday. One report north of town out on the prairie said they got an inch, then south an inch and a half.

Clifton and Judy Tucker of Bella Vista came over Saturday and I went to Dr. Hall’s funeral with them. Sympathy is extended to the family.

July 19, is the fun day for all county E.H. clubs. Maysville Club is the host club. Meat and drinks are furnished. Each club member is to bring a side dish such as a salad or dessert. There are 13 county clubs in this event. Registration begins at 9:30 in the morning.

I’ve enjoyed my greatgrandson Billy Cook a few afternoons this week.

It was good to have visitors at Maysville Bible Church Sunday morning. Hope they will come back. It’s good to have Pastor Jim Whisenant and family back.

Shelley Bishop visited her grandparents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, on Thursday afternoon and gave her grandma a permanent. Sylvia Tucker visited Johnnie Mae Marshall. Orpha Wardlaw’s granddaughter, Selena Fincher of Tulsa, has returned home after spending some time with her grandmother Orpha.
