GRAVETTE — A four person (men-women) 18-hole golf scramble will be held August 18 to benefit the Billy V. Hall Senior Activity Center in Gravette.

The scramble, sponsored by Delta Trust, will be held at the Highlands Golf Course in Bella Vista. This is an annual event, and last year “a check for $5,000 was presented to the center which so desperately needs funding,” said Jewel Bray, vicepresident of the Delta Bella Vista branch.

The funds primarily help sponsor the “Meals on Wheels” program. According to Mary Kay Kelley, center director, “More than I ever imagined, people from Bella Vista, Hiwasse and surrounding areas are signing up for our Meals on Wheels program. We need a miracle to serve all the senior people in need.”
