— Sympathy is extended to Phyllis Felkins and family in the loss of their mother. I used to work with Elsie. She was a very caring person, always willing to help.

Ward Carrier lost thousands of big, ready to sell chickens in the extreme heat this week.

Amanda Hamilton and children visited with relatives in Ada, Okla., a few days this week.

Thursday evening Robert Paul Hamilton and Dean Fletcher enjoyed supper with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamilton.

Zena Weihe and Geneva Hamilton went out for lunch.

Amy and Diane fixed adelicious birthday dinner for their mother, Paula Carrier, on Sunday. Others helping her celebrate were her husband Ward, sons Mike, Brian and Tom, grandson Gabe, DaleLynn Carrier and myself.

We seem to have several sick ones in our community, including Gene Willmon, Rick Banks and Billy Habermehl. Keep them all in your prayers.

Apparently it is too hot for people to get out and do anything they don’t have to.

Ask God to send us some rain.
