GENTRY — Two area postmasters, with more than 60 years of service between them, are retiring Friday. Dennis Long, Gentry’s postmaster, and his wife, Twila Long, Centerton’s postmaster, will wait on their last postal customers on Friday. And then, after yearsof going to the same job but in different locations, they will have opportunity to spend more time together.

The Longs are longtime residents of Decatur.
