— Maysville E. H. Club members, remember this Thursday, July 26, is club day. We are only having an afternoon business meeting, no lunch. Dues are to be paid and we will select our lessons and other duties of the year. Meeting time is 1 p.m. See you there.

Melinda Crawley came by to see me for a short time on Tuesday. We never get to visit very much. She was taking her children to the swimming pool. I told her we need to set a day and time to visit for awhile.

Sylvia Tucker visited Johnnie Mae Marshall one afternoon last week. They always enjoy the visit.

All we can say about the weather is that it is hot. The weather men seem to think it will stay that way.We sure do need rain.

The fun day was held at the Maysville Community Building on Thursday. It was for all 13 county clubs. The Maysville club was host. Attendance was lower, probably because of the heat, and other activities were involved also. We had a good day, good food and the program, as always, was good. We are celebrating 100 years of E.H. clubs this year.

Jack and Sylvia Tucker’s visitors Sunday were their daughter Patti King and friend Petru, both of Lowell.

Ron and Debbi Sims had visitors Saturday evening for a good meal. Those attending were Jack and Sylvia Tucker, Hayley Cochrum, Patti King and friend Petru. Petru did the cooking, using some good recipes. They all enjoyed the meal and visiting.
