GRAVETTE — Dr. and Mrs. John Garrett, of Gravette, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 1.

John Garrett and Jeanie Allen were married June 1, 1962, at the Baptist Church in Centerton, with Melvin Coffelt officiating.

The Garretts are parents of two daughters,Laura Comer and husband Chris and Amanda Whitney and husband Eric, both of Springdale. They have four grandchildren, Garrett and Bailey Comer, Addison and Olivia Whitney.

They will be making a trip to Puerto Rico this month to celebrate their anniversary.
