— James Andrews

James Wesley Andrews, 41, of Siloam Springs, died May 26, 2012, at his home.

He was born Feb. 23, 1971 in Carlsbad, N.M., to William Terry Andrews, Sr., and Betty Jean (England) Andrews. He married Melissa Eberley on Nov. 1, 1997, in Siloam Springs. He was a member of the Gum Springs Baptist Church and was an avid outdoorsman.

He was preceded in death by one son, Tyler Garrett Andrews.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa; one son, Jeffrey Vaughn of Siloam Springs; two daughters, Kaleigh Andrews and Emily Andrews of Siloam Springs; his parents, William and Betty Andrews of Truth or Consequences, N.M.; one sister, Tricia Arias and husband Alfred of Deming, N.M.; onebrother, Terry Andrews and wife Tena of Colcord, Okla.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerald and Wilma Eberley of Siloam Springs

Graveside services were May 30 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, with Dwight Hignite officiating. Burial followed. Arrangements were by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

Donna Childers

Donna Sue Childers, 49, of Gentry, died June 2, 2012, at Northwest Medical Center, Springdale.

She was born Dec. 31, 1962, in Van Buren, to J.B. Childers and Betty Shelly Childers. She had lived in Gentry for the past 18 years.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Survivors include her father, J.B. Childers of Gentry; two sisters, Teresa Childers and Sue Ann Childers, both of Gentry.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, at First Baptist Church in Gentry, with Robin Cowin officiating. Burial will follow at Gentry Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

Palmer Cutcher

Palmer LeRoy Cutcher, 82, of Hiwasse, died May 31, 2012, at his home in Hiwasse.

He was born Sept. 3, 1929, in Berlin Township, St. Clair County, Mich., to David Wilson Cutcher and Martha May Vanvaulkenburg Cutcher. He moved to Hiwasse in 1980 from Illinois. He owned Palmer Landscaping Company and was co-owner of Jadco.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; one son, Perry.

He is survived by his wife, Janice of Hiwasse; five sons, Gary Daniels and wife Pam of Galesburg, Ill., Tom Good and wife Stephanie of Fayetteville, Scott Good and wife Valerie of Hiwasse, Rowland Good of Hiwasse, Justin Good and wife Jennifer of Bella Vista; one brother, David Cutcher of Detroit, Mich.; one sister, Carolyn Cuthrall of OklahomaCity, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.

Graveside services were June 2 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hiwasse.

Arrangements were by the Bella Vista FuneralHome & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista.

Clarence Farris

Clarence Elmer Farris, 84, of Gentry, died May 25, 2012, at his home.

He was born May 27, 1927, in Mansfield, Mo., to George and Berna Farris. He retired after working for Lloyd Peterson for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors, his flower garden and visiting with friends.

Farris was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, George “Jr.” Farris, three sisters, Dorothy Farris, Ellen Seal and Ida Mae Pastian.

Survivors include one daughter, Angel Lucas of Yellville; three sisters, Ethel Seal of Sandler, Texas, Betty Hilliard of Mansfield, and Lucille Welch of Lebanon, Mo.

A memorial service will be held in Cedar Gap, Mo., at a later time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Russell Martin

Russell Adrian Martin, 43, of Siloam Springs, died May 29, 2012, at Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville.

He was born Nov. 5, 1968, in Siloam Springs, to Robert Martin and Patricia Lee Jordan Martin. He was a lifetime resident of Siloam Springs and Gentry. He worked for Wal-Mart in Bentonville and was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Siloam Springs.

He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Patricia Martin.

Survivors include hisadopted parents, Paul and Janice Smith of Siloam Springs; four brothers, Nathaniel Smith of China, Timothy Smith of Kansas City, Mo., Aaron Smith of Costa Rica and Christian Smith of Siloam Springs, his extended family on Paul and Janice’s sides; and his biological father, Robert Martin of Gentry.

Memorial services were June 2 at Grace Episcopal Church, Siloam Springs.

William (Tom) Selby

William Thomas (Tom) Selby, 88, of Sulphur Springs, died April 26, 2012.

He was born at Sulphur Springs on Sept. 12, 1923, to William Thomas Selby, Sr., and Clara Belle Clark Selby. He joined the Army at age 20 and served in the 3rd Army 344th Advanced Armament Co., under General George Patton. He was decorated with five Bronze Stars, the W.W.II Victory Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, American Campaign Medal, the Europe-Africa ME Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He returned to the family farm and later married Dee Adrian Kissire. He operated the Lone Wolf Station in Noel for 16 years. After a brief stay in California, he returned to Southwest City, Mo., where he owned and operated Selby WheelAlignment for 32 years, until his retirement. He returned to the farm, with his son, and was a successful cattleman. He attended the United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his son Larry.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, DeeAdrian Selby; one son, William Selby of Boise, Idaho; one daughter, Linda Chrisman of Springfield, Mo.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held June 2 at the United Methodist Church in Southwest City with Mary Lou Toft officiating. Burial was at Lee Cemetery near Sulphur Springs, under direction of Bella Vista Funeral Home.

Debra Turensky

Debra J. Turensky, 52, of Siloam Springs, died May25, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

She was born Sept. 6, 1959, to Robert Davidson and Alma Davidson at Siloam Springs. She was a lifelong resident of the area. She married Randal Turensky June 24, 1992.

Survivors include her husband, Randal of Siloam Springs; one daughter, Amy Melvin of Phoenix, Ariz.; her mother, Alma Lamkins of Gentry.

No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
