— Edward Cassi

Edward “Eddie” Francis Cassi, 66, of Gravette, died June 5, 2012, at his home.

He was born Aug. 13, 1945, in New York, N.Y., the son of Theresa Altieri and Gino Cassi. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam conflict with the United States Navy, where he obtained an honorable discharge. He was an electrician from 1972 until 1988. He was a very devoted New York sports fan, and he was very athletic in his younger years. He and his family had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area since 1996, after moving from Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Claudia Cassi of the home; one son, Michael Cassi of Gravette; two daughters, Erika Burch and her husband JR of Joplin, Mo., Diana Cradduck and her husband Josh of Neosho, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

A celebration of his life was held June 8 at Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville. Interment was at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gravette. Honors were provided by Northwest Arkansas Honor Guard of Rogers. Arrangements were by Epting Funeral Home.

Lindalla 'Lynn' Green

Lindalla Frances “Lynn” Green, 49, of Rogers, died June 8, 2012, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville.

She was born Sept.22, 1962, in Little Rock, to Green Walter Leroy New and Linda Faye Booher. She was passionate about serving people and spent her life caring for others. She loved to travel and visit with friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Larry Gale Green; three sons, Terry Wayne Snelling and wife Jenny of Cherry Point, N.C., Wade Lawrence Green of Tulsa, Okla., Justin Lee Green, of Gravette; one daughter, Amber Dawn Snelling of Bentonville; two brothers, Russell New of Seligman, Mo., Jeffery New, of Fayetteville; and seven grandchildren.

A memorial service was held June 12 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers withNorman Hamby officiating. Arrangements were by Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers. Mary Loyd

Mary A. Loyd, 66, of Bentonville, died June 5, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers.

She was born June 21, 1945, in Horton, Kan., the daughter of C.A. and Phyllis Wilson Gannon. She retired from the Walmart Real Estate Division and was a member of St. Theodore’s Episcopal Church in Bella Vista.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and two daughters, Rebecca and Rachel Loyd.

She is survived by her husband, Curt Loyd of the home; children, Tawny Daggett and husband Chandler of Lake Ozark,Mo., Jason Loyd and wife Tammie of Gravette, and Hayden Loyd of the home; her sister, Susan Milne of Little Rock; and nine grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 15, at the First United Methodist Church in Bentonville, with Rex Dickey officiating. Arrangements are by Benton County Funeral Home of Rogers.

Jeffrey Norton

Jeffrey Lewell Norton, 42, of Hiwasse, died June 4, 2012, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.

He was born on June 14, 1969, in Rogers, to James Lewell Norton and Cleta Jo Swank Norton. He lived in Northwest Arkansas all of his life. He married Brenda Brandon on June 8, 1992. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, jet-skiing and being outdoors. He also loved his dogs and cats.

He is survived by his wife of Hiwasse; his parents of Centerton; two daughters, Jocee Norton of Hiwasse, Gracee Norton of Hiwasse; one brother, Troy Norton and wife Rachel of Centerton; and maternal grandmother Anna Swank Skaggs of Centerton.

A memorial service was held June 9 at the Full Gospel Harbor of Praise in Bentonville. Arrangements were by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory, Bella Vista.

Arthur Skaggs, Jr.

Arthur Elie Skaggs, Jr., 75, of Decatur, died June 8, 2012, at his home.

He was born Oct. 31, 1936, to Arthur Elie Skaggs, Sr., and Tennie Peterson Skaggs. He was a retired maintenance employee for Tyson’s and Peterson’s Farms and a member of the Pentecostal Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Beals Skaggs; one daughter, Tennie Ratledge; three great-grandchildren, Kayla and Jacob Ratledge and Dalton Tate.

He is survived by his children, Terry Skaggs of Gravette, Audrey Siewell, Logan Skaggs, Julia Goodman, Timothy Skaggs, Burnard Case Skaggs and Jo Cassia Vela, all of Decatur; three sisters, Mary, Lois and Sarah; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements were by Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers.
