Gravette students promote recycling

— Three third grade students at Gravette Upper Elementary School were awarded prizes for their posters promoting recycling.

The contest was coordinated by Allyson Ransom for the city of Gravette as part of the city’s emphasis on recycling through the county and state.

First place winner was Tanner Cowan, who won a season family pass to the Gravette swimming pool; second place winnerwas Mikey Larson; and third place went to Lorelei Kellhofer. Both were also awarded season individual passes to the pool.

The posters, and those of other students, will be incorporated into recycling publicity for the city in the future.
