NORTHWEST ARKANSAS — Don and Shirley Dennis celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 9, at the Gravette Assembly of God fellowship hall.

The event was hosted by their nieces Cara Rose and Caitlyn Rose and sister Jeanie Rose. Macayla Foster assisted at the guest book. One hundred and seven friends and family werein attendance. Rev. Sherman Robinson, a lifelong friend of the couple, was the guest speaker.

Don and Shirley Dennis were married June 7, 1962, by Rev. Burl Loyd, at the Gravette Assembly of God Church. They have lived in Gravette for the past 43 years. They attribute their many years of marriage to their love for God and each other.

Putmans celebrate 60th

Jerry and Marie Putman, of Little Flock, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary June 26 with a private celebration.

Thomas Jerry Putman and Marie Wiggin were married June 26, 1952, at the Gravette Methodist Church parsonage by Rev. Harvison.

The Putmans are parents of three children, Teresa Hufford and husband Gary of Little Flock, Bill Putman and wife Franziska of Atlanta, Ga., and Dan Putman of Santa Cruz, Cal. They have two grandchildren, Morgan Hufford and Alex Putman.
