HIGHFILL — Highfill’s city council meeting was held June 7 instead of the regularly-scheduled second Tuesday of the month.

According to information from Highfill’s mayor, Stacy Digby, Chris Holland, Jeff Parks and Jim Johnson were all reappointed to water and sewer boards for two years each.

The council also discussed the sign on the city office building and the Hay Daze festival this year. The event was not held in 2011.
