— We are still waiting on a good rain. The weatherman doesn’t promise for this week. I’m sure we will get some.

My visitors on Friday evening were my niece and husband Todd and Viola Chapman of Broken Arrow, Okla. They were at John Brown University getting their daughter enrolled for college. They spent the night with me. I sure did enjoy them.

Les and Jean Martindale, Jack and Sylvia Tucker went to Noel to Cotton-Eyed Joe’s to eat on Friday evening. They always enjoy that.

I went to Harrison on Sunday with Steve and Susan Tucker. We went to see Seth and Melody Tucker and Judah. He is four months old now andsure growing. We had a very enjoyable day and a good Father’s Day meal. We all enjoyed the time together.

Sylvia Tucker visited Johnnie Mae Marshall one afternoon last week. She and Dan are doing fine.

Debbie and Ron Sims had a cookout at their place on Saturday evening. Those attending were Jack and Sylvia Tucker, Patti King and friend Petru, Jake and Shelley Bishop. They had a fun evening and good food.

Danny Marshall of Gentry came out and took his mother and dad, Johnnie Mae and Dan, out to eat for Father’s Day. He took them to Western Sizzlin. They had a good day.

Hope all fathers had a great Father’s Day.
