— Maysville E.H. Club members, remember this Thursday is club day at the community building. Katherine Tucker is hostess for lunch. Orpha Wardlaw has the lesson. Bring your canned food for the food pantry of the Maysville Baptist Church.

The weather man says no rain for seven to 10 days and above normal temperatures.Hope they miss it. The farmers are hoping for rain because of their second cutting of hay.

Sylvia Tucker visited Dan and Johnnie Mae Marshall one afternoon last week. They were both doing fine.

Patti King and friend Petru of Lowell visited Ron and Debbie Sims last weekend. They also visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker for a while on Sunday.

My brother, Jim Vandiver,of Broken Arrow, Okla., came over one day last week and we went to Bentonville to see our sister, Frances Sims. Then we went to the Dixie Cafe and ate lunch. He brought me home and went to visit our other sister, Marie Crawford, and husband Jim. We all enjoyed the day.

Jim was leaving on Thursday morning to go to Washington State for a square dance convention.
