GENTRY — A fiery crash occurred just before midnight Monday at the junction of Arkansas Highways 12 and 43, west of Gentry, and both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Arkansas State Police, Donnie Kirby, 51, of Siloam Springs was southbound in a 2006 Ford F-150 pickup truck on Arkansas Highway 43 and failed to stop at the intersection. Kirby was struck by a westbound 2008 Mack truck, driven by James Luttrel, 66, ofKansas, Okla.

In addition to ASP, Gentry and Siloam Police, Benton County Sheriff’s Office and Gentry Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to the accident scene.
