Support columns for a carport are all that remain standing following a fire that destroyed a frame home at Beaty Road last Thursday shortly after noon. The blaze, which is still under investigation by the sheriff's department, was prevented from spreading to nearby homes by three fire departments.

Fire last Thursday afternoon at 13304 Beaty Road west of Gravette destroyed a residence and heavily damaged an outbuilding.
