Harry Edwin Riggs, 81, of Lincoln, died Feb. 29, 2012, in Fayetteville. He wasborn July 24, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Charles Harrison and Celinda Slye Riggs.

He served in the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by one son, Craig Riggs;

three brothers, Dean Riggs, Russelland Bill Riggs; and four sisters, Betty Compton, Donna Stagmeir, Mary Sexton and Earlamay Sams.

Survivors include one son, Bob Riggs of Lincoln; two daughters, Tina Clayton of West Carolton, Ohio and Karen Krull of West Manchester, Ohio; one brother, Jack Riggs of Dayton, Ohio; one sister, Millie Martel of Olympia, Wash.

Imogene L. Kappler, 91, of Farmington, died Feb. 27, 2012, in Springdale.She was born Aug. 17, 1920 in Wheeler, the daughter of James Andrew Neal and Nina Annis Johnson.

She was a member of Farmington Church of Christ and was employed for 31 years as an inspector for Levi Strauss. She was also a member of Levi Strauss Retirement Club and past volunteer for the Farmington Senior Center.

Survivors include a daughter, Melba Morrison of Farmington; son, Jim Carney of Farmington; 15 grandchildren; 28 greatgrandchildren and three greatgreat-grandchildren.

Funeral service was held March 1 at Farmington Church of Christ. Burial was in Mt. Comfort Cemetery under the direction of Mooreís Chapel.

Donald Quay Hamblet, of Cane hill, died March 1, 2012, at his home in Cane Hill.He was born on March 13, 1930 in Abilene, Texas.

He touched the lives of many during his 10-year second career as a Wal-Mart greeter and was a cherishedmember of Prairie Grove Christian Church.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 61 years, Elizabeth Ann Hamblet; two daughters their spouses, all of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and their spouses; 11 great-grandchildren; a nephew and two nieces and their extended families.

Van Robert, of Oklahoma City, Okla, died Feb. 24, 2012 in Oklahoma City. He was born May 6, 1924 at Prairie Grove, the son of Robert and Myrtle Bell Van-Winkle Cox.

He was a member of the Christian Church. Graduating from Prairie Grove High School, he joined the army in 1942 and served in World War II. On Aug. 19, 1947 he married Doris Jean Langham. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a BS in marketing and MS in business administration. He worked forGulf Oil for 34 years, retiring as international comptroller.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean Langham Cox; two brothers, George Cox and Troy Wayne Cox; and one sister, Rita Glover.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Brant Cox and Van Bruce Cox both of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Rebecca Schwarz of Oklahoma City; and four grandchildren.

Marie Holland Crews, 73, died Feb. 28, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born on Jan. 23, 1939, to Alvin and Ethel Holland.

She retired from Ozark Guidance Center after 26 years of service.

Survivors include a sister, Virginia Lewis and husband, Darwin, of Fayetteville; one son, Jim Crews and wife, Shelly, of Farmington; three daughters, Debbie Crews of Rogers, Carol Casey and husband, Rocky, of Prairie Grove, Tracy Crews and husband, Rick Shepherd, of Winslow; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were held March 1 at Prairie Grove Christian Church.

Richard D. McMullen, 82, of Farmington, died Feb. 26, 2012, in Clearlake, Calif. He was born July 31, 1929, in Fayetteville, the son of Jodie Wright McMullen and Alice Lee Peterson.

He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas and served in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joda Lee Graves.

Survivors include two sons, John McMullen of Seagoville, Texas, Phillip McMullen of Clear Lake, Calif.; six grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren.

Wanda Faye Storm, 69, of Springdale, died March 2, 2012, at NorthwestMedical Center. She was born Nov. 2, 1942, in Memphis, Tenn., to William and Myrtle Abernathy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ed Storm; son,Doug Storm; two sisters, Jeanette Rook and Robin Brandli; and brother, Robert Abernathy.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandy Karimi of Springdale; three sons, Tommy Hendricks of Springdale, David Storm and wife, Christie, of Prairie Grove, and Kenny Storm and wife, Tina, of Farmington; sister, Billie Wingo and husband, Joe, of Austin, Texas; brother, Danny Abernathy and wife, Judy, of Memphis, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today, March 7 at the funeral home.
