Events schedule released by Gravette

— The following schedule of upcoming special events, activities and services in Gravette has been announced by Allyson Ransom, director of communications for Gravette.

The fifth season of Gravette Farmers’ Market will open Saturday, April 7, in Old Town Park. Hours willbe from 8 a.m. until noon each Saturday at that location.

Saturday, April 21, has been set for a city-wide yard sale in Gravette. No yard sale permits are required on that day and everyone is being encouraged to make the sale a real community-wide event.

Gravette’s new Wildlife Trail will hold its grand opening on Saturday, April 28. The trail begins justsouth of the Pop Allum ball park. Activities will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Spring cleanup for city water customers is scheduled Tuesday, May 1, with curbside pickup.

There are some restrictions on what can be picked up. Consult last week’s Eagle Observer or City Hall, 787-5757, for information.

The Gravette Historical Museum will hold a special“My Collections” event on Saturday, May 5. Everyone is invited to bring their “collections” to display while enjoying the collections of others. There will also be a cookout from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The museum is located at 501 Charlotte St. S.E.
