— Editor,

We would like to take the time to thank everyone for their condolences and donations, both financially and of their time, to our family during this very needful time. We are truly blessed to have such great friends who put their entire lives on hold to help us in our time of need. There are just simply not enough words to express the gratitude that our family feels toward each and every one of you now.

We really wish that we could tell each of you individually how much youall mean to us, but at this time it is just not possible. We will do our best in the coming months to do so. We love you all and are so very blessed by all your friendship and to live in such a tight-knit community.

Gravette Editor,

Gravette Upper Elementary staff is proud to announce that once again 100 percent of the total student population had parents who were contacted during the 2012 Spring Parent-Teacher Conference Day!

Good communication between a parent and the teacher is essential for any child’s success in school. Recent studies document that the more actively involved a parent is in his or her child’s school life, the more the child succeeds.

At Gravette Upper Elementary our goal is to have parents and teachers who work together as a team to do what is best for the students.
