Two arrested in traffic stop

— A man and woman were arrested in Gravette recently when a pickup truck with expired tags was stopped by officer Tyler Anderson, Lt. David Smith announced last Thursday. The incident occurred April 9.

During the course of the stop, Anderson arrested Brandon Trammel, a passenger in the vehicle, for a felony warrant issued by the McDonald County (Mo.) Sheriff’s Office.

Officer Anderson obtained consent to search the vehicle and found prescription narcotics in an unmarked pill bottle in a bag belonging to the driver, identified as Madison Orozco, and she was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

During booking at the Benton County Jail, a bag of drug paraphernalia and suspected meth were found on her person. She was booked into the jail and held in lieu of bond, according to Lt. Smith.
