GRAVETTE — A contract for resurfacing the 3.9 mile section of Highway 59 north from Decatur to the Spavinaw Creek Bridge just south of Gravette has been awarded by the Arkansas Highway Department.

APAC-Centeral, Inc., of Fayetteville, was awarded the contract at $639,469.68.

Work on the project could begin within the next two to four weeks and should be completed in the fall of this year, the AHD reported.
