I had a great Mother’s Day. In fact, I had two days of it. Gary and Helen, Steve and Clifton were here on Friday and Saturday. I got some nice gifts and cards and I had phone calls on Sunday so I feel like I had a really good day. They don’t ever forget me.

The Maysville E.H. Club will have a concession stand next Sunday at the estate sale of the late Roy and Billie Lou Tucker. We will have sandwiches, drinks, pies and maybe some other food also.

I got a phone call that my grandson, Seth Tucker, got home Sunday from Israel. He said it was a great trip and he learned a lot too. He flew into Highfill and was to help with a concert in Bentonville Sunday evening. Then they went home to Harrison after the concert.

All mothers at the Maysville Bible Church got red roses Sunday. They were beautiful. David Maxwell got them and brought them to church. Thanks, David. That was very thoughtful of you.

Shelly Bishop visited her grandparents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, on Wednesday of this week.

Sylvia Tucker visited Johnnie Mae Marshall on Friday and they did some crocheting and, of course, a lot of visiting.

Marvin and Bert Ballmann have returned from their trip to Iowa, Michigan and I’m not sure where else. I hear they had a real good trip and got to see their son Pete and family in Michigan.
