'Ozark Family Campmeeting' begins Tuesday

— "Ozark Family Campmeeting" at the Gentry Seventh-day Adventist Church will be held May 29 through June 2.

The week-long family event will feature presentations by special speakers for adults and lots of fun activities and educational meetings for kids.

This year Dick Duerksen, world traveler for Maranatha International, and Randy Roberts, lead pastor for one of the world’s largest SDA churches, will be keynote speakers.

Other speakers will be presenting seminars throughout the week on topics such as finances in a time of crises, end-time events, mental peace, Bible prophecy, health and music.

The main meetings will be held in the church building rather than the large tent by the creek forthe added comforts of air conditioning and padded seats.

Programs for kids, ages 4 and up, will be held in the Pathfinder building or in tents, depending on the age group, and will include Bible story time, music, arts and crafts, and game time.

Programs for high school and college age young people will include uplifting speakers and music, as well as offcampus excursions.

Dorm rooms at Ozark Academy are available for out-of-town guests and R.V. and tent campsites are also available for those coming from out of town or who would like to be closer to friends and activities.

The Adventist Book Center will be open in the youth center throughout the week.
