— Due to little or no participation, the breakfast bus shuttle for the Seamless Summer meal program has been cancelled. The change took effect on Tuesday.

The Primary School Cafeteria will continue to serve breakfast as scheduled for anyone wishing toattend. The school is hoping to boost the number of bus riders for the lunch shuttle to be able to justify continuing that service.

Gentry schools is offering summer breakfast and lunch to any child up to the age of 18 years for free. The program is referred to as the Seamless Summer Program and runs from May 21 through July 27 (except that it will be closed on theweek of July 4). Bus service is available at specific locations. For more information, including bus stop locations, check the school website at www.gentrypioneers.com or call the school office. Though the breakfast bus was canceled, the lunch bus shuttle will continue to run as scheduled but will be monitored to see if there is enough participation to continue the service.
