Local author publishes mystery novel

GRAVETTE — A new “To Die For....” mystery novel by Gravette author Radine Nehring will soon be available, the author announced.

“A Fair to Die For” is the seventh in the series of mystery novels which center in Arkansas, more particularly northwest Arkansas.

This novel involves the series’ main characters, Carrie McCrite and Harry, in a tangled mystery at the War Eagle Craft Fair and even a breakfast at the War Eagle Mill.

The plot involves eventsthat are no match for Carrie’s sleuth work which, as always, culminates with a surprising conclusion.

Published by Oak Tree Press, the new novel will be available June 1 in bookstores from Amazon.com, from the publisher at 140 E. Palmer Street, Taylorville, Ill., or at tobe-announced author book signings.

Nehring’s first book, “A Love Letter from Spring Hollow,” gives a chronology of Radine's and her husband John’s move from Tulsa to settle in the hilly woods near Gravette. That autobiographical volume was published internationally.
