Committee of the Whole to review ordinances

GRAVETTE — Gravette City Council Committee of the Whole will hold its regular monthly meeting Thursday, Nov. 8, at 6 p.m. at the city hall, 604 First Avenue S.E.

Monthly reports from various city departments will be heard, followed by new business items on the agenda including:

◊Review ordinance for alley abandonment.

◊Review ordinance for second Hiwasse annexation.

◊Review ordinance for rezoning Patriot Park subdivision from Agriculturalto Residential - 1 to correct an error that occurred when the subdivision was opened many years ago.

Added to the agenda will be discussing a Safe Routes to Schools grant and discussion of hydrant meter procedures.

Unfinished business willinclude discussion of purchase of Duffield’s building and discussion of the Deffenbaugh proposal.

The regular fourth Thursday city council meeting will be held one week early, at 6 p.m. Nov. 15, at the Gravette Civic Center because of the Thanksgiving holiday.
