Kenneth and Jean Coones of Gentry will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a drop-in reception from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at their home located at 700 Pleasant Ave. in Gentry. Friends and neighbors are invited.

Kenneth Coones and Jean Perkins were married Nov. 24, 1962, by Father McGuiness. Kenneth is originally from Siloam Springs, and Jean is from Lynwood, Calif.

They have two children: Russell Coones of Farmersville, Texas, and John Coones of Williard, Utah. They have four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
