It’s rather hard to comment about the weather when you haven’t got to see outside very much. I have spent three weeks in the hospital and rehab.

I want to thank all of my relatives and their families for helping me in so many ways, also for the nice cards, phone calls and visits from each and every one. I’ll not mention names because I would be afraid of leavingsome out. Thanks again to all.

Sylvia Tucker visited me two afternoons last week after I got home from the hospital. She always brings me a good food treat like a malted milkshake.

Dan and Johnnie Mae Marshall’s daughter Linda, from Texas, visited them last week to help her dad celebrate his 83rd birthday. They went to Noel to Cotton-Eyed Joe’s to eat. Happy birthday, Dan. Hope you have many more.

Patti King and friend Petru of Lowell visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker one day last week.

Funeral services were held at the Maysville Bible Church on Thursday morning last week for Archie Sperry, a long-time Maysville resident. Burial followed at the Maysville Cemetery. Sympathy is extended to the family.

Maysville E.H. Club members, remember this Thursday is club day at the Maysville community building.

The Maysville E.H. Clubfall fundraiser is this Saturday evening with Indian tacos, sale of home-baked pies and a cake walk. Serving of tacos will begin at 5 p.m. The proceeds go toward expenses on the building.

Tracy Warren spent quite a lot of time with me last weekend. I don’t know what I’d do without all of my helpers.

News is scarce. Maybe I’ll get started again. If you have news call me, 787-5712, or mail to 204 Charlotte St. S.E., Gravette, AR 72736.
