GENTRY — McKee Foods in Gentry will be holding an America Recycles event from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, and 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in the Little Debbie Store parking lot (at the corner of Main Street and Arkansas Highway 59).

For a $10 donation to the United Way of Gentry, area residents may bring an unlimited amount of electronics for recycling and paper for shredding.

Electronic items accepted will be computers, cameras, printers, copiers, telephones, stereos,televisions, fax machines, electronic cables, paper shredders, microwaves, DVD and VCR players, video game consoles, satellite receivers, and hand-held devices such as PDAs and iPods.

Paper which may be brought for shredding includes office paper, magazines, newspapers, catalogs, telephone books and paperback books.

Free Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies will be given to all participants.

The two-day event is sponsored by McKee Foods, United Way of Gentry, eSCO Processing and Recycling, Shred-It and the Gentry Chamber of Commerce.
