Robert and Geneva Hamilton spent Labor Day weekend visiting friends in Kansas City and helping them celebrate their anniversary.

Katie and Eli Keith spent Saturday night with Grandma Sandra in Bella Vista.

Billy Habermehl is recovering from surgery but as of Sunday he was still in ICU in the Little Rock hospital.

Rick Banks is recovering at home after a stay in the hospital.

Ward and Paula Carrier hosted a birthday lunch on Sunday for their son Brian and daughter Amy. Others helping them celebrate were their spouses Diane and Tom, brother Mike, nephew Gabe, uncle Lofty, aunt DaleLynn and Grandma Carrier.

We are so thankful for the nice rain we received last week.

Howard Spears has spent some time in the hospital this week. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Novella Carlton visited in Fayetteville on Friday with her cousin Kay Hunter.

Word was received here of the death of the former Joy Davis of Bixby, Okla. She still has relatives in the area. Sympathy is extended to the family.

Gloria Hill and Novella Carlton attended theWashington County Fair on Wednesday to see Novella’s granddaughter Autumn show her hogs.
