Musician's swap meet, jam added to weekend score

— As a part of the “Pickin’ Time on 59” multi-community yard sale scheduled Oct. 12-14, a Musicians Swap Meet and Jam will be held in Old Town Park inGravette on Saturday, Oct. 13.

The Pickin’ Time sale involves all areas on Highway 59 from Sulphur Springs to Siloam Springs and is being promoted by the Chambers of Commerceof the towns along the Highway 59 route.

The event is being called Western Benton County’s largest yard sale, and participants from all the towns and in between are being encouraged to take part.

The Musicians Swap Meet will be held only on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Old Town Park in Gravette. It will provide a venue for persons to buy, sell or trade and will feature open mic and jamming by musicians.

If you need a guitar, want to sell a banjo, a mandolin or your old amp, this is the place - the location of the Gravette Farmers' Market. There is a $10 setup fee (waived for participants in the open mic), but no additional fees. For information, contact Jeff at 250-0125.
