— The Gentry Senior Activity Center is seeking volunteers to become trained to lead a brain fitness program entitled Super Noggin.

A free two-day training will take place in Harrison on Nov. 14 and 15. Time and location are still to be determined.

Super Noggin is a brainfitness program for those who want to stay mentally sharp throughout life. It is designed to maintain and even improve brain fitness, but following the program also contributes to good physicalhealth. It’s the first cognitive fitness program to integrate live classes, advice on computer programs and behavioral changes such as sleep, diet and stress reduction to promote brain wellness.

Super Noggin is a series of educational workshops which teach healthy lifestyle choices and activities that individuals can do to maintain and improve brain health. Monthly meetings are conducted to help program participants stay motivated and connected.

For more information, please call the Gentry Senior Center at 736-0378.
